This new body of work by printmaker Iain Perry is an ongoing exploration of mood, colour, patterns, and repetitions inspired by music.  The acts of collecting, listening, dancing and compiling mixtapes have sat alongside and intermingled with Iain’s printmaking practice for many years.

The prints themselves are an attempt to visualize and capture the sounds and emotions experienced during listening. They also draw inspiration from the packaging and other ephemera that surrounds this huge, ever growing, pulsating collective endeavour.
